Bertha Sessions - Live music
We are delighted to announce new dates and new bands for ‘BERTHA SESSIONS’ live music and supper in the barn at Ballyvolane House.
Irish band ‘Mochua’ a lively traditional and contemporary folk band will perform live on Friday, 20th July and on Friday, 10th August in the old stone barn located in the farmyard at Ballyvolane House. The doors open at 7.30pm. A one-course supper (special dietary requirements will be accommodated too please let us know in advance) will be served at 8pm and the band will perform live after food.

Navarra Wine Dinner with Ernie Whalley
The Navarra dinner to celebrate San Fermín in Ballyvolane House is on Tuesday 24th July, and wines will be introduced by Ernie Whalley, renowned restaurant critic and wine writer. Beginning at 7 p.m., the 5-course tasting menu with matching wines will be held on long tables in Ballyvolane’s gorgeous gardens, if the weather is still as glorious as it is now – appropriately Spanish weather! If not, the Navarra dinner will be served on the dining terrace in the barn.

Old Butter Roads Summer Feile
The Old Butter Roads Food Trails is super excited to be organising the 2nd year of the Summer Féile and this year looks to be even better than last year. Festivities kick off on Saturday May 05 with the Blarney/Cork Féile which will also include the official launch of The Féile.
